Welcome to my website!
I am a Specialist for Infrastructure Development, a Senior Program Manager and Business Development Executive with over 20 years of experience in the international development consulting industry.
Originally from Germany, I am based in Kenya since 2009 - but I have worked in over 40 countries and in some of them for longer periods, particularly in Africa and the Middle East.
I have been dealing with almost all infrastructure sectors, such as electricity generation and distribution, water supply, railways, roads, ports and airports, as well as municipal services and social infrastructure. Typically, I have been designing, building or managing large-scale national or regional infrastructure development programs, ranging from privatization and long-term utility concessions through to Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).
Over the years I have worked for and with a number of multinational and bilateral development banks and financing institutions - for example, the World Bank, the European Union/EuropeAid, the African Development Bank, UK Aid/Department for International Development (DfID), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and others. Most of my contracts were with private consulting firms and I can say that I have worked with some of the finest and most reputable organizations in the industry - but I have also worked for years for international development banks directly, for example the World Bank.
My website provides a bit of background information on some of my previous work and I would be happy, if it would help to encourage professional networking and exchange of exeriences and ideas, as well as promote business development.
